WHAT DO WE SAY?
Many of us are searching for the best way to talk with our children about the results of the election.
There have been some helpful resources online that I'm including below. And, of course, for young kids, when something large is hard to understand, they need to be able to ask questions and have their concerns validated. It's also important to talk to them about what it means to be gracious in victory and respectful in defeat. Let them know you'll protect them no matter what. Of course, it always helps to encourage them to write their feelings down.
